about

When I lived in Chicago, I used to visit the Chicago Art Institute all the time. The building takes up five square blocks, and a person could visit every day for years and never see all of it.

The museum has several paintings by Jackson Pollock, including some of his famous 'drip' paintings. Inspired by his use of drippy, stringy, smeary textures, I wrote and recorded this.

Part of my album project to be released this year.

about

Matt Channing Denver, Colorado

Matt Channing studied music at the University of Denver but hasn't let that stop him. For some reason he was always picked last for softball. He would like you to imagine a mixture of ambient, psychedelia, experimental, and modern classical music. Not because that's what he does, but because he thinks the idea is really cool.

He thanks you for listening.
